When it comes to holiday shopping, 38% of American consumers plan to shop before Halloween, 44% will start before Thanksgiving and 81% plan to use shopping reward apps and coupons as part of the shopping strategy.
Those are top findings from a Shopkick survey polling 6,000 consumers on holiday shopping plans.
The survey also revealed 73% have already noticed price increases on product they likely will buy, according to a press release on the findings.
Shoppers are evenly split between shopping primarily in-store or online compared to the 71% who planned to utilize both last year.
Of the consumers shopping in-store, the majority (83%) plan to purchase holiday gifts at big box stores, followed by off-price retailers (44%), department stores (37%) and club stores (33%).
