The right delivery choices and order tracking features matter more to new and loyal e-commerce shoppers than loyalty programs, perks and payment options. In fact, 70% consider a choice of delivery options important.
Those are top findings from an nShift report which also revealed that 85% of shoppers expect a clear returns policy and 72% expect a choice of delivery options.
Yet loyalty programs are important to 60% of shoppers, according to a press release on the findings.
"Deliveries hold the keys to helping retailers stand out from the crowd, build loyalty with customers, and grow their revenue. But if businesses simply treat shipping as a purely logistical feat, they miss a huge chance to turn deliveries into a competitive advantage," Mattias Gredenhag, CTO at nShift, said in the release.
