There is no disputing Amazon is the leader in U.S. online shopping but not every shopper generation is enthralled with the mega e-tailer.
Nearly half of Gen Z shoppers, 47%, are actively trying to shop less at Amazon, six in 10 view Amazon as too powerful and more than a third, 39%, are tired of hearing about the e-commerce leader.
Those are findings from a Mintel survey that predicts e-commerce sales, overall, will enjoy a 9% boost this year and hit $1.2 trillion, according to a press release on the survey findings.
