Nearly half, 45%, of Americans are using AI-powered search and more than two-thirds, 69%, have interacted with AI-generated prompts and results when searching for products online.

Those are top findings from an adMarketplace survey that polled 1,000 U.S. adults on how Americans are engaging with AI-driven search in the shopping journey, according to a press release on the findings.

With AI-powered search is gaining notable traction, roughly 17% already rely more on these tools than traditional search methods.

When it comes to AI-powered search features, personalization stands out as the most wanted. More than a quarter, 27%, said personalized results based on their inputs are the most important and valuable of all AI-driven features.

Across the board, around 20% of Americans expressed no current interest in using AI in their search and shopping experiences.
